The Story   

Joseph and Priscilla Fountain started Shining Light Dementia Care LLC in Moscow, ID March of 2024. Joseph, an experienced entrepreneur in the business field, noticed his wife’s skill and heart in caring for people and with his encouragement helped her create the local business they own today.

Priscilla’s love for helping and caring for others initially lead her to pursue work in the medical field. She started working in family practice as a medical assistant and today currently holds a nursing assistant certification-CNA. After some years working in the medical field she pursued higher education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Idaho in 2020. Since graduating she has been helping clients and their families as a certified dementia care specialist. Priscilla is continually grateful for the opportunity to provide care and companionship to those in need and feels that each client and family is a gift.

Joseph, born and raised in Moscow Idaho, has a deep connection to community having family history that spans back generations. The business he started over five years ago, JTF Hauling & Services, is highly regarded throughout the community. Though his professional background isn’t in healthcare, he has always had a strong drive and work ethic in entrepreneurship. Known for his kindness and quiet dedication, his contribution behind the scenes at Shining Light Dementia Care brings a calm steady presence and a genuine heart for helping others into every aspect of the job.
